Pace, speed, time and distance

Two inputs are enough. Find your pace, finish time or running distance.

What is it for?

Convert minutes per kilometre to kilometres per hour, or find a duration and distance. Know which value to use on your watch or treadmill.

How it works

  1. Choose what to calculate.
  2. Enter the two relevant inputs.
  3. Read the result and save it to your account.

Constant-pace calculation without stops. Terrain, fatigue and breaks can change your actual time.

Choose a term for its definition and an illustrated example.

Understand the calculation

Pace = time / distance. Time = pace × distance. Distance = time / pace. Speed in km/h = 3,600 / pace in seconds per km. One mile is exactly 1.609344 km. Only the display is rounded.

Your questions, answered

Do I need an account to calculate?

No. Results and methods are freely available.

What does saving keep?

Your inputs, result and method version, in your private resources. Your plan and personal records are not changed.

Why can an estimate differ from my race?

The calculation does not know every condition or your preparation. A theoretical equivalent helps you explore a goal and compare it with your training.
