My goal by this date

A finish time, a date, your available days. See the time ahead and compare programme requirements.

What is it for?

Compare your target time, reported level and race date. See how much time you have to prepare a suitable plan.

How it works

  1. Choose your distance, finish time and race date.
  2. Optionally add a comparable race result.
  3. Compare programme schedules and prerequisites.

Calculated as of Oct 11, 2026. This calculation keeps its reference date.

Without a comparable result, no current fitness level is estimated.

Marathon performance especially depends on specific preparation. Terrain, weather, fuelling and fitness changes are not modelled. No weekly gains or success probabilities are calculated.

Understand the calculation

The calendar counts days between the calculation date and the race without assuming improvement. A confirmed result uses the equivalence T₂ = T₁ × (D₂ / D₁)^1.06. This assumes comparable effort and suitable distance-specific preparation; it predicts neither future fitness nor chances of success. Programme models keep their full duration.

Your questions, answered

Do I need an account to calculate?

No. Results and methods are freely available.

What does saving keep?

Your inputs, result and method version, in your private resources. Your plan and personal records are not changed.

Is this goal achievable for me?

A date and an old finish time cannot establish that. Recent training volume, consistency, recovery, terrain and health constraints also matter. This tool compares conditions. Plan adaptation must then check your context; no programme is applied automatically.
